Letters to the Editor
The Editor:
The Pacific Arts Association thanks you for the full support
you have given to our concerts this year. The articles
about the Kuuskmann-Herskowitz concert and the Mark Nadler
performance greatly helped to enlarge the audience. And
Dick Clark’s review of the Kuuskmann-Herskowitz
program in January was engaging and funny.
Kuuskmann will be featured in another concert next year;
publishing the review of that event should make readers
in Blaine look forward to the quality of the concerts that
PAA is offering.

The Editor:
To everyone in Blaine and the surrounding community: Thank
you, thank you, thank you - for your wonderful support
this past year as Jamie served in Iraq and upon his return
this past weekend. Thank you to Pacific Building
Center and Crazy Dazy for the welcome home signs! Thank
you to the couple who went out of their way to bring
a special thank you to Jamie at our home. We appreciate
all of you.

The Editor:
Thank you for publishing Warren Aller’s article on
the WASL in your March 10 edition of The Northern Light.
Mr. Aller’s discussion of the problems that the “No
Child Left Behind” law poses for our educational
system was interesting, informative and constructive. I
hope that The Northern Light will follow up from time to
time about efforts being made to change or amend this law.
