Gibson, Hastings awarded

Julianne Erin Gibson of Blaine high school was awarded the Seattle Pacific University President’s Scholar Award of $5,500.

This scholarship is given in recognition of outstanding academic scholarship and community involvement. SPU is a fully accredited Christianuniversity of liberal arts, sciences and professional studies. It is located in Seattle, WA.
Kevin Michael Hastings of Blaine high school accepted membership into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at the University of Washington.

The NSCS is a highly selective, national, non-profit honors organization that recognizes first and second year undergraduate students who excel academically. He will be formally inducted at a ceremony at UW this fall.
