Stephanis serves up all tastes
Combining
location and menu, Stephanis Restaurant opened at
the Birch Bay golf course in early June.
Stephani Smith and her husband Eric moved to Birch Bay at
the end of April to open a restaurant and raise their family.
Weve always wanted to have an excellent seafood
restaurant on the water, Stephani said. We have
both worked in the industry all of our adult lives.
The restaurant is designed to reach all tastes. The split
floor plan allows one area to be designated for fine dining
including a full service bar and a dinner menu that ranges
from $13 - $22. The menu features lemon cashew halibut,
red king salmon, seafood fettuccine and great salads.
Stephanis Beach Club Café makes up the other
part of the restaurant, which is aimed more at family dining.
Here you can come off the beach and have steamed clams
or fish and chips in a fun environment, Stephani said.
The Beach Club is open for lunch and dinner and has a menu
including fresh to order fish and chips and clam chowder.
Prices range from $7 13 We really want this
to be a place of warmth, hospitality and customer service,
Stephani said. The dining room is open 5 10 p.m.
and the café is open from 11 a\.m. sunset.
