Puget Sound Blood Center seeks volunteers to help
at mobile blood drives and at donation center. Volunteer
opportunities include registering people before they give
blood, serving refreshments while monitoring donors after
they donate blood, calling to remind donors of their appointments,
and driving Blood Center vehicles to deliver blood and supplies.
Delivery volunteers are required to have a valid Washington
state drivers license. Hours are flexible. Please

Circulo de Manos (Spanish for Circle of Hands) is a
Girl Scout Totem Council program for children of migrant
farm workers. Girl Scouts Totem Council need more volunteers
to serve as helpers in Whatcom County.
Monday through Thursday evenings, July 1 to August 16, volunteers
visit migrant camps in both Skagit and Whatcom counties
and bring educational and social activities for both boys
and girls in the camps. They bring fun, food and friendship
directly into the migrant camps where the children live.
Volunteers do not have to speak Spanish. Program supplies
and training are provided.
