Stardust gets in your eyes
From perky outfits, to flashing feet and tidy harmony,
Stardust will make the Performing Arts Center feel like
the USO has come to town. The female vocal trio, performing
as part of the Pacific Arts Association series, specializes
in nostalgia, following in the footsteps of a string of
groups with names ending in Sisters. Starting with the early
days of radio, marching through the war years and sliding
into the fifties, the trio sing and dance their way through
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Top Hat,
Mr. Sandman, Jeepers Creepers, and a legion
of other memory ticklers.
Stardust, or Joette Waters, Pamela Peterson and Kate Rafferty,
will take to the stage in the PAC at 7:30 p.m. on October
5. Tickets are $15 or $7 for students and season tickets
are still available for this concert and the rest of the
series. Call 360/332-6484 for credit card orders. Tickets
are also available at the Blaine visitors center, Steamers,
the Resort Semiahmoo gift shop and Village books in Fairhaven.
A limited number will be available at the door.
