Winterizing tips

To get your car ready for winter
1.Check belts and hoses
2.Check antifreeze
3.Use a winter windshield washer fluid
4.Use a gas line antifreeze as a frozen fuel line can stop a car cold
5.Check battery and charging system. Cold weather can zap a weak battery
6.Mount winter tires and/or carry chains if traveling across mountain passes
7.Check lights, front and rear
8.Check and replace wiper blades
9.Carry an ice scraper and/or a can of window de-icer
10.For emergencies carry some extra fuses, a working flashlight, road flares, booster cables; perhaps a sleeping bag or blanket and some emergency food and water
11.Keep fuel level full to minimize moisture...
