Vessel safety checks are a free service provided to help promote water safety and education. Upon completion the vessel will be awarded a decal indicating their preparedness.

Examiners will answer questions, make recommendations and discuss safety issues. No citations are given, this is an opportunity to promote boating and to further your knowledge.

The first event will be May 3 at LFS, 851 Coho Way, Bellingham. For further information, you may contact Rod Sherman with the Bellingham Squadron at 733-5633.
