Igloo
Beach Boutique: New clothes in Birch Bay
When visitors wander into Birch Bays new clothing store,
Igloo Beach Boutique, they are asked to place a pin showing
where theyre from on a map that hangs on the wall, already
including pins from as far away as Germany and Nairobi.
Pam Grover, the co-owner of Igloo Beach, said that even
though many of the stores customers are tourists, the goal
is to be centered on local business and local customers.
Weve got the tourists and the visitors, but we want to
cater to the locals, she said. Birch Bay is wonderful,
Pam Grover said. I think there should be more things here.
Grover and her husband Nathan, who opened the shop at the end of May, said many of their clothes are made from natural fibers and are made in North America. There are various styles and shapes of clothes and accessories for men and women. The store is located at 7900 Birch Bay Drive and can be reached at 371-3740.
