Boardwalk plans moving along

The final photo-realistic illustrations of the proposed $1.5 million boardwalk were finalized last month by the city of Blaine planning department. The boardwalk is scheduled to be built next year along the southern side of Peace Portal Drive, between H and G streets. �We continue to make progress on the boardwalk. I am currently working on construction drawings, an easement contract, and funding for construction,� said Blaine community development director Terry Galvin. �With these three tasks completed, we should be able to move forward with construction bids early in 2004.�
