Thomas returns home from six weeks in Guatemala
Blaine resident and Seattle Pacific University student Jacqueline Thomas returned from a six week long mission trip to Guatemala on August 17. The trip is a part of SPU’s SPRINT (Seattle Pacific University Reachout INTernational) program.
During the trip, Thomas and her teammates, all education
or theology majors, lived with different Guatemalan host
families. They each worked in several elementary and
secondary schools. For more information on Thomas
and her team, please see www .spu.ed-u/sprint.
SPRINT teams are committed to world awareness and cross-cultural
ministry through short-term missions. SPRINT has been
organizing short-term student mission trips all over
the world for the past 19 years. Students raise their
own money for airfare, room and board, training and team
expenses.
