Brochure to attract birders
The city of Blaine has produced 10,000 copies of Northwest Birding, a new brochure that will “encourage people to see this as an important birding area,” according to Debbie Harger who works in the city’s economic development department as community specialist.
Harger said the brochure will be distributed throughout the state at various tourism and wildlife conferences. She said planning is already underway for next spring’s Brant festival. This will mark the third season of the annual birding confab.
The brochure was written by Joe Meche and designed by Karena Crotto. It is available at the visitors center and city hall.
