Starting Monday, May 9, women in town have another excuse for pampering themselves. That’s because another massage therapist has decided to open up shop.
Moynahan grew up in the Puget Sound area and became a
Whatcom County resident three years ago and fell in love
with Blaine. With her business sense, she knew right
away that Blaine was the place to fulfill her dream of
opening her own massage therapy practice.
She became a certified nursing assistant in 1993 and graduated from Spectrum Center Massage School of Lake Stevens in 1998.
She will be opening Blaine Ladies Day Massage Monday, May 9 at 362 H Street in the Doug Freeman Real Estate building next to city hall. She says her focus will be making each woman feel like a queen with a hour and a half massage for only $40. She plans on scheduling three massages a day at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Future plans will include expanding hours by adding one Saturday a month and one evening a week.
