Guilty plea...

Former Bordertown Tavern owner Walter Bail of Blaine reached a plea agreement in U.S. District Court in Seattle last month, pleading guilty to charges of distributing methamphetamines. Charges stem from last July when Bail was one of over 40 people arrested in an area-wide sweep by county, state and federal agents directed at the Bandidos motorcycle club.

According to court records Bail appeared before Judge Mary Alice Theiler on January 12. Following the plea Bail was released on his own recognizance and will appear again on May 26 for sentencing. The offence carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
