Trillium scheduled to open Blaine office

The Trillium corporation has announced plans to open an office in Blaine.

Wayne Schwandt, vice-president of Trillium, said that the company has rented the real estate office once used by Mel Hollinger at 685 Peace Portal Drive immediately beside the H Street Boardwalk Plaza.

“We’re opening this new office on October 14 so it’s useable during the Vigil dedication,” Schwandt said, adding that it’s “not a real estate office but more to be an accessible presence in Blaine, a place where people can stop by and talk with staff about what we’re doing, find out things and speak to us face to face, whatever’s on their mind.”
Among their projects in the area, Trillium will shortly be moving into the construction phase on their 22-acre Seagrass Condominium project, and is also in the process of updating its master plan for the rest of their property on Semiahmoo Spit.

“There’s a lot that people need to be able to find out about and talk about,” said Schwandt.

Schwandt declined comment on Trillium’s plans, if any, for Blaine outside of property the company already owns on Semiahmoo Spit.
