Gallery features Blaine artist
The works of Blaine artist
Donna-Lee Elke will be on display at Bellingham’s
Allied Arts Gallery during the month of April.
Elke is a contemporary and abstract artist who had spent
several years as a fiber artist in Colorado. Using a multitude
of media from acrylic paints, to charcoal, and pen and
ink, Elke creates both representational and abstract work.
Elke, however, said she discovered that her true freedom
of expression comes through painting.
An artists’ reception for Elke, along with Bellingham
artist Erin Libby, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday April
6 at the gallery at 1418 Cornwall Avenue in Bellingham.
