The Blaine Senior Center welcomes the wonderful month of May. We are thankful for all those April showers but are really ready for those promised May flowers and hopefully a few more sunshiny days. Some warm gentle breezes would be nice too.
We were deeply saddened by passing of Undine Sinks in a tragic automobile accident during April. Undine was a long-time member and faithful volunteer at the center and loved by everyone. Undine donated many hours of work for the center during her many years of service. She led many successful garage sales including the one held in this April. Undine was a vital part of our community and she was loved by everyone and is sorely missed.
Our Blaine Senior Center has been and still is a very vital part of our community. It is a welcoming haven, which provides needed fellowship, a sense of family, fun and nutritious food for many senior adults. This support by the Blaine community is very much appreciated.
There are many activities provided including great physical fitness instruction and equipment, which gives our citizens a chance to add years of healthy enjoyable living to their lives.
