BP Cherry Point Refinery presented a check to the Mt. Baker Chapter of the American Red Cross for $50,000 in support of local Red Cross disaster relief.

“The local Red Cross is vital to the health and safety of our community,” says Mike Abendhoff, BP director of government and public affairs. “These past weeks we have seen how the Red Cross played a vital role during the floods and responded to the emergency needs of our community. We are pleased to have this financial contribution support the recent flood relief efforts of the Red Cross. We challenge other businesses in our community to join us and contribute to the local Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.”
