A Blaine woman was arrested Friday after hitting six vehicles while she tried to evade police officers.
Washington State Patrol troopers said Brandi Sestrom, 26, of Blaine, was driving a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero southbound in the northbound lanes on Guide Meridian and struck a 1992 Volvo driven by Cassandra Childs, of Bellingham, while turning left at Kellogg Road. As her vehicle continued, it also struck five other vehicles.
No one was hurt in the crash.

State trooper Mark Francis said Sestrom was arrested on suspicion of several charges including possession of methamphetamine.
