The city of Blaine has scheduled a public hearing to decide on its $2.2 million six-year transportation plan for 2011-2016.
The city has added three new projects to the plan, including improvements to H Street between Ludwick Street and Terrace Avenue as well as B, Second, Fourth and Ninth streets.
Other projects include installing traffic calming measures on 12th, D and H streets, repairs to Yew Street between Hughes and Boblett streets and improvements to pedestrian overpasses at H Street, Mitchell Avenue and Hughes Avenue crossings. Installing structures to slow traffic on 12th Street between D and H streets.
The council will hear public comments on the plan during their regular meeting June 14 at Blaine city hall.
