Those wanting to explore the life, geology and beauty of Semiahmoo spit under a rising full moon will want to attend a full moon walk hosted by the Wild Whatcom Walks outdoor exploration organization.
The hike is scheduled from 8 to 10 p.m. Friday, June 25 at Semiahmoo spit and will include a short natural history lesson, walk, wildlife observation and a sharing circle around a beach bonfire. Participants can meet at the Semiahmoo museum. Cost is $7 per person or $15 per family.
