A group of writers and editors with the group Northwest Citizen has sponsored a question and answer forum with state and local candidates for Wednesday, October 13 in Bellingham.

Each pair of candidates will speak and answer questions for about 25 minutes with no notes or written help. Questions will be live from the audience and each candidate will be able to ask one question of their opponent.

Local candidates scheduled to attend include 42^nd legislative district candidates Jason Overstreet and Al Jensen, 42^nd legislative district pos. 2 candidates Vincent Buys and Kelli Linville, 42^nd legislative state senate candidates Doug Ericksen and Pat Jerns, and Whatcom County Council district 1 candidates Jean Melious and Tony Larson.

The forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 13 at the Whatcom County courthouse in the council chambers. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. For more information, visit www.nwcitizen.com.
