Local artists featured in fair

Those wanting to get a taste of local flavor will want to check out the 21st annual Fall Craft & Antique Show this weekend at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds in Lynden.

Several Blaine and Birch Bay artists will be featured in the event. They are Sabrina Koebel of Sabrina Design in Blaine; Mac Muncy of Mac’s Critters in Birch Bay; Barbara Mcallister of Wood-N-Stitches in Blaine; Janice Vigelius of Village Folk Art in Blaine; and Joan Carlin of Cabin Antiques in Blaine.

The festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, October 14 and 15, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 16. More than 100 vendors will feature their own handcrafts, antiques and original art.
Food will be available.

Admission is $5 or $4 for seniors and includes free parking.
