Blaine resident and Boy Scout Troop 4006 member Alex Bullock, 17, is working to replace a foot bridge and restore trails in Lincoln Park to complete his project requirement needed to become an Eagle Scout. Because of the park’s state of disrepair, Bullock said the park’s current state has led to its underutilization and said his goal is to make the area safer. He is seeking donations of materials, money and skilled labor. Those interested in helping out or to reach his goal of $1,000 can call 393-3515. Work parties are scheduled February 19, 20 and 26. Hot lunches and beverages will be provided at the site. Excess monetary donations will be donated to fund future Eagle Scout projects.
