Two Blaine high school graduates recently earned bachelor of arts degrees from local universities.
Amanda Statham earned her bachelor of arts in education in early childhood education from Western Washington University on Saturday, March 19.
She is a 2007 Blaine high school grad and plans to pursue a career in teaching in the Blaine school district. She completed her student teaching at Blaine primary school.
She is the daughter of Shawn and Michelle Statham, of Blaine.
Also, 2004 Blaine high school graduate Ryan Alexander recently graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
Alexander is the son of Rick Alexander, of Whatcom County, and Christina Alexander, of Blaine. He plans to pursue a career in finance management.
