The subject was determined to be a Mexican national that had illegally entered the United States and was processed for removal proceedings.

May 2: Border patrol agents arrested a citizen of Australia after she illegally entered the United States on the beach in Blaine. A record check revealed she has a criminal record in Canada for theft. Suspect was processed for removal proceedings.

May 4: Border patrol agents responded to a request for assistance from the Anacortes police department. A subject in their custody was found to be a Mexican national, illegally present in the United States, with an extensive criminal history. Border patrol agents arrested the subject for immigration violations, and he was processed for removal proceedings.
May 5: Suspicious activity was observed by remote video surveillance cameras near Blaine. Agents responded and arrested a United States citizen after he made an illegal entry from Canada. Record checks revealed the male subject had an extensive criminal record along with several outstanding warrants. The suspect was cited for illegally entering the United States and turned over to the Blaine police department.
