When Dr. Matt Adams and his wife, Cori Ann, were looking for a place to do business and start a family on the west coast, he said Blaine stuck out above the rest.
After exploring options in Seattle, Bellevue and Bellingham, Adams said there was something about Blaine that just felt right.
“We liked the community and the people are really nice,” he said. “There was something about it that just felt like we needed to be here.”
In particular, he mentioned a recent fundraiser for a Blaine child who suffers from leukemia and how impressed they were with the generous support her family received from the community.
“To see the amount people show up for that and see how much money they raised just at the door was amazing,” he said. “And, of course, it’s beautiful here.”
Adams grew up along the Gulf Coast. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee and earned his doctorate in chiropractic work from Parker College in Dallas, Texas, in 2010. He also completed courses in animal chiropractic work and is certified in applied kinesiology.
“The fundamental thing about chiropractic work is that it has to do with your entire nervous system, not just your back and spine. If you’re having pain somewhere, you’re probably being affected in other places as well,”he said. “It’s not a cure-all, but often times people find they have other issues resolved after recieving chiropractic care.”
Besides standard chiropractic work, Adams provides nutritional support services to his clients.
“I’m a big proponent of well-being and healthy eating. I like to help people not only who are in pain but those who want to be healthy and feel good as well.”
