A group of Blaine residents have organized an invasive weed removal work party to help give visitors to Marine Park a better view of Semiahmoo Bay.

The Salishan Neighborhood Association has sponsored a cleanup day for 9 a.m. Saturday, June 25, beginning at Telescope Beach near the new amphitheater.

Association president Janet Pickard said some tools will be available but those who own tools and gloves should bring them. Cookies and coffee will be provided.
