July 1: Agents responded to a request for translation by the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office. Two subjects were found to be citizens of Mexico that had illegally entered the U.S. Both suspects were processed for removal.

July 2: Agents conducting transportation checks at the Bellingham International Airport encountered a citizen of Mexico that was illegally present in the United States. The subject was processed for removal.

July 3: Border patrol agents arrested a citizen of Sri Lanka near the Peace Arch State Park in Blaine. Two Sri Lankan nationals were encountered. One had a pending asylum claim and the other had violated the terms of his visa. The subject who had violated the terms of his visa was processed for removal.

July 3: Border patrol agents arrested a citizen of Canada out of a taxicab near the Northwood Casino in Sumas. The subject admitted to illegally entering the United States. Subject was processed for removal.

July 3: Border patrol agents arrested a citizen of the Czech Republic after responding to a U.S. Coast Guard request for assistance in Bellingham. The subject was found to have violated the terms of his visa. The subject had a warrant out of California and was subsequently turned over to the Bellingham Police Department with an immigration detainer placed on him.
