The Jansen Art Center, located at 321 Front Street in Lynden, will open its doors for the first time with an open house on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 30 to April 1.
The open house will feature studio tours, workshops, performances and a chance to meet artists and instructors.
All are welcome to stop by Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Jansen Art Center is a 20,000 square foot venue designed to showcase fine arts, offer classes and workshops and host performances and recitals.
“Music, dance, performance art, painting, drawing, pottery, weaving, textile arts, glass and jewelry studios will be available as workshops and studio arts classes,” said Laurie Riskin, the center’s executive director.
