Thursday, April 9, noon:
Easter lunch with Jim Freeman, guitar and vocals. Come enjoy old favorites of the 40s and 50s. Celebrate Easter lunch with Easter treats.
Saturday, April 14, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
The Great Rummage Sale. Costco will be here serving treats! Please donate your rummage sale items to the Blaine Senior Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, April 9, through Thursday, April 12.
Monday April 16, 1 to 2 p.m.:
Balance Training and Fall Prevention. Meets Monday and Wednesdays for four weeks. Classes stress the need for strong, flexible legs and regularly practiced balance drills. Register and pay $30 fee at the Blaine Senior Center office in advance. Continuing and beginning students welcome!
Tuesday, April 17, 10:30 a.m.:
Learn about TOPS Club, Inc., the original nonprofit weight-loss support and wellness education organization. It is a scientifically proven plan and has helped millions for more than 60 years. TOPS combines healthy eating, regular physical activity, wellness information, awards and recognition, and support at weekly meetings.

Birthday lunch with Bob Storms, keyboard and vocals.
Friday, April 20, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.:
AARP Driving Class. Brush up on your driving with this AARP driving class, available to ages 50 and older. Check with your insurance company, you may be able to get a discount on your insurance by taking this class. $12 AARP members, $14 non-members.
Friday, April 20, 10 a.m.:
Computer Basics. Would you like to increase your computer IQ? Learn to use email, set up an account, search the internet, find and organize your pictures on the computer. Let the computer doctor help you. Cost is only $7. Ongoing classes will be held the third Friday of each month.
Saturday, April 21, 8 to 11 a.m.:
Pancake Breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and O J. Adults $6, children $4.
Thursday, April 26, noon:
Whatcom Fire and Rescue Safety Tips. Learn what is new with basic fire safety, 911 calls and more. Your questions will be welcomed.
Wednesday, April 29, 10 to 11 a.m.:
Self Defense for Seniors. Learn escape methods and blocks and how to use everyday objects for self defense. Free class brought to you by NW Park & Recreation District 2. Held the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Sunday, May 6, 1 to 3 p.m.:
Spring High Tea. Enjoy tea, delicious treats, music, prizes and silent auction. Have handsome gents wait on you while you visit with your friends. Individual tickets are available for $15 in advance. Proceeds will benefit the Blaine Senior Center. We need silent auction donations – local business support and donations always appreciated.
