The Birch Bay Shellfish Protection District committee will meet next Wednesday, April 18, at Fire Station 62, 9001 Semiahmoo Parkway in Blaine. The members will meet from 6 to 8 p.m.

The committee members are also part of the Birch Bay Watershed and Aquatic Resource Management (BBWARM) district advisory committee.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussion of shellfish protection districts in general and water quality monitoring projects covering Birch Bay and Terrell Creek.
