Children play in the sandbox during Blaine Library’s Dream Big Play Date on August 14. Volunteers from Early Learning, HeadStart and the Opportunity Council created a carnival of parent and child play for the crowd of 60 children and adults. The patio and meeting room had a water table, a bird seed table, homemade play dough, rainbow colors of pudding fingerpaint, Cheerio necklaces, blocks, puzzles, books and a table full of information.
