Tired of wondering what to do with all those plastic garden pots from the plants you bought this summer? Don’t throw them out – take them to the Cordata Community Food Co-op for recycling.

The Co-op will accept plastic pots, plant tags, packs and flats from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14. Items don’t need to be washed, but should be free of soil and debris.

The collection and recycling is courtesy of Nick Guilford of Sunseed Farm. The Cordata Co-op is located at 315 Westerly Road, Bellingham. For more information, visit communityfood.coop or call 360/734-8158.
