The Borderites boys’ basketball team will host two Canadian teams and one other American team at the Blaine Holiday Invite Friday, December 28 and Saturday, December 29. The friendly international tournament pits Blaine and Granite Falls against Canadian teams Earl Marriot Secondary from Surrey, B.C. and British Columbia Christian Academy from Port Coquitlam, B.C.

Blaine will play Earl Marriot Friday at 7 p.m. and British Columbia Christian Academy Saturday at 6 p.m. The American teams will not face each other.

“It’s just for fun,” said Blaine athletic coordinator Steve Miller. “And it gives the varsity a little international flavor.”
