The 2014 Guerilla Film Project is now accepting student registrations. The Guerilla Film Project is an annual filmmaking competition for high school students held at the Pickford Film Center in Bellingham. Students form teams of 35 to write, shoot, cut and edit a three-minute narrative film in under 65 hours.
All film entries are required to use a specified line of dialogue and select props. This year’s competition will be held over President’s Day weekend, February 13–16. The films will be shown in the new Pickford Film Center with expanded seating.
High school students from across northwest Washington are eligible to enter. The competition is open to the first 25 teams that register. The deadline for registration is February 10, 2014. Cash prizes will be given to the top three film teams.
