The fifth annual Blaine Pizza and Pizzazz Talent Show will be held at the Blaine Middle School cafeteria on Saturday, March 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event features all-you-can-eat pizza, three hours of talent show performances and a raffle to win fabulous prizes.

With a full line-up of talent, senior Emmy Johnson, who is coordinating the event for her senior project, said it’s sure to be a fun evening.

“We have a lot of students and community members participating,” Johnson said. “There’s even going to be a guy who does karate stuff and is going to break cinderblocks with his head.”

She also noted that community member Bill Dodd will be singing at the event and that the Blaine Chamber Choir will be performing at the end of each act.

“I’ve seen other students put on the Pizza and Pizzazz talent show before and it looked like a really good project to do,” said Johnson, who is also president of the Blaine Chamber Choir.

Tickets for the show will be sold at the door and are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children under 5 eat for free.

Gluten-free pizza will be available, and the group will be raffling off prizes from local businesses.
