Paul G. Fisher passed away on April 25, 2010 after a year long struggle with esophageal cancer.
Paul grew up in Edmonton Alberta and Blaine, WA. He graduated from Blaine High School in 1956, served in the Air Force, obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and a Master's Degree in Psychology from Central Washington University. Paul worked for the State of Washington, first as a social worker with the Department of Health and Social Services, before becoming a Financial Analyst for the Department of Transportation. He enjoyed playing and dealing poker, becoming a professional dealer in retirement.
Paul is survived by his son Paul F. Fisher, and his daughter Sheila J. Fisher. He is pre-deceased by his parents John Henry Fisher and Sarah Precious Gadbois; and his siblings, Guy Lee Fisher, Grace Fern Jasperse and John Lester (Jack) Fisher.
Paul will always be remembered for his many loving quirks, his bright smile, his great sense of humor, and the hats and coveralls he always wore when he wasn't dealing poker at one of the many local casinos.
A memorial service will be held for Paul at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 16th at Moles-Greenacres Funeral Home in Ferndale.
