Anne was born to George and Sophie Peterson, attended Pleasant Valley School, and graduated in 1934 in Blaine. After graduation, she worked at Birch Bay Golf Course as a cute waitress for five years, then later married the love of her life Robert C. Vogt on January 1, 1942.

Robert left for the navy and Anne joined him six months later in CA.  She worked at the Clean Craft Laundry for four years then returned home and started Edgewater Resort with her husband, and built 33 cabins and a store. They celebrated 62 years of marriage. Later, the couple built a trailer park and raised three sons; Terry, Larry and Gary.

Anne loved to play bridge and golf. She was a member of the Elks Club and a former member of Bellingham Golf & Country Club. Anne is predeceased by her husband Robert; sons, Terry, Larry and her parents. Anne leaves her son Gary and his wife Cindy Lou, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be a service of remembrance on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Jerns Funeral Chapel 464 8th St. Blaine, WA.
