Bonnie M. Roush of Birch Bay, WA, passed away January 4, 2014. She was born in Bellingham, WA to Duke and Geraldine Koepke. Bonnie went to school and lived in Republic, WA until 1986, when she and family moved to Birch Bay, WA. 

She attended the Bellingham Beauty School. After she graduated she opened and operated Birch Bay Cut N Style for a 

number of years. She went back to school at the Bellingham Technical College where she graduated as a pastry chef. Bonnie became the head pastry chef at the Semiahmoo Resort until her retirement. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father Duke Koepke and her brother Gary Koepke. Bonnie is survived by her mother Geraldine Koepke, husband Craig Roush of 39 years, son Calvin Roush, daughter Andrea Dragswolf, grandson Austin Roush, granddaughter Vivian Roush, many nieces, nephews and many friends. Bonnie was known for her kind heart, witty sense of humor and amazing culinary abilities. Her family was her greatest joy, as she was their greatest gift. A private gathering was held on January 7th with her immediate family, honoring her memory.
