REPORTS
April 28:
Complainant reported two speakers worth $53 were stolen
from the library. Officer contacted the subject and arrested
him for theft 3rd degree. The speakers were later located
in the arrestee�s residence. Arrestee was released to his
parents.

27:
Officers were dispatched to Semiahmoo Resort for a patron
being out of control. Officers arrived and found that the
patron had an earlier incident with another guest and was
upset. All parties involved were contacted. Officers determined
that no crime had occurred.

U.S. Customs reported a subject entering the U.S. while
in possession of heroin. A passenger in a car that had been
moved to a secondary inspection area was found to be carrying
.9 grams of heroin in their backpack. Subject was booked
into jail.

A juvenile in the 200 block of G Street reported his mother
and another female attempting to get the number of the bank
account he shares with his father. The issue is a family
matter and no crime had occurred.

A citizen in the 300 block of Alder Street reported her
husband missing. The missing person and associated vehicle
were entered into law enforcement databases.

Blaine K-9 team assisted the Bellingham police department
in a stand-off with an armed subject in the 4200 block of
Guide Meridian. Subject was taken into custody by Bellingham
police.

Officers recovered a vehicle which had been stolen in Richmond,
B.C. It appeared the vehicle may have been used to enter
the U.S. illegally. Vehicle was impounded.

A citizen in the 400 block of G Street called to report
a verbal dispute between her and her adult son. The dispute
was verbal only. The son agreed to find somewhere else to
stay until things cooled down. Both parties said they would
call the police if there were any further problems.

Complainant reported a student damaging school property
and intimidating a school official. The student was arrested
for malicious mischief and released to a parent. Matter
will be forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor.

Officers received a complaint of a dog at large in the area
of the 600 block of F Street. Officers located the dog and
turned it over to the Whatcom Humane Society.

A Blaine resident reported losing his black leather wallet
at the Blaine laundrymat within the last five days. Report
generated for informational purposes. Another resident turned
in the wallet and it was returned to the owner.

Officers investigated a complaint of counterfeit business
checks at a local bank. Case under continuing investigation.

A local bank reported a subject opening a bank account using
a counterfeit check. The complaint is being investigated.

A person in the 600 block of E Street reported finding stolen
property in her home. Her son admitted to stealing the property.
Charges will be forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor for
review.

17:
Complainant reported two teenage female subjects who had
been using fake identification to get into clubs in Canada.
Officer contacted the females who admitted to using fake
identification to go to the dance clubs in Canada. Both
subjects no longer had the identification. Officer advised
them of the laws they were breaking and warned them not
to do it again.
