REPORTS
September 15:
A person in the 400 block of Martin Street reported
that her ex-business partner stole a large sum of money
from her and subsequently disappeared. Case referred to
Whatcom County prosecutors office for review.
September
14:
A citizen reported loud noises in the neighborhood in the
9700 block of Vista Terrace. While an officer was en route
to the call, they received information that the �noise problem�
was leaving the area. Patrol of the area was provided but
the noise had left the area.

14:
A person being detained by the USBP for immigration reasons
was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia
and marijuana. The person was also found to have numerous
outstanding warrants for his arrest. The subject was taken
into custody and booked into jail.

14:
A person in the 200 block of B Street reported a window
in her house damaged by a BB. The person believes it may
have happened accidentally by a neighbor when they were
shooting at birds in their yard. Under investigation.

14:
A person in the 2200 block of Seaside Drive was arrested
and booked into jail after assaulting his wife of 14 days.
The victim�s injuries were minor.

13:
A citizen in the 1200 block of Blaine Avenue reported their
car was broken into sometime during the past few days. Unknown
persons had busted out the back windshield and taken a car
stereo. There are no suspects at this time.

13:
Complainant reported two people together in violation of
a no contact order. Officers contacted the suspects and
learned one was an adult and the other a juvenile. The juvenile
was detained until a parent could arrive to pick her up.
The incident was referred to the prosecutor for review.

13:
Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft in progress
in the 800 block of Alder Street. Suspects had taken a ping
pong table in place of money that was loaned to another.
The complainant had no knowledge of a verbal contract her
husband had made with the suspects. It was determined that
this was a civil matter and the ping pong table was brought
back to its location. The suspect was advised to take the
matter to court to get his money back.

12:
A citizen reported juveniles firing a paint gun at objects
in the 600 block of 10th Street. Two juveniles were contacted
and they were shooting at a piece of plywood in their backyard.
They were advised to not shoot anywhere besides their own
property.

10:
A citizen reported observing a male carrying a hockey bag
from the border area to a nearby truck. The person felt
the subject may be involved in drug smuggling activity,
but rather, he was in the process of moving.

10:
A resident in the 600 block of A Street reported an ongoing
problem with a neighbor�s pets urinating on an upstairs
deck. The urine runs between the gaps in the deck and down
onto the complainant�s patio. The dog�s owner, after being
previously warned, was criminally cited for the offense.

10:
Blaine PD K-9 team was called to assist WCSO with the track
of a wanted felon. The team responded and initiated a track.
During the course of the track the suspect fled towards
law enforcement officers who were maintaining a perimeter
and the man was taken into custody without incident.

A Blaine officer conducted a missing persons investigation
and located a 13-year-old female who had run away from home.
The juvenile was in violation of a court ordered curfew.
A copy of the report will be sent to the juvenile prosecutor
and probation department.

Officers contacted an individual in the 600 block of SR
543 who was stopping traffic in an attempt to get a ride
to Bellingham. Officers gave the individual a ride to the
Bellingham airport.
