Mike Haslip was called to the scene of many horrific incidents of Domestic Violence against my mother in 1985/86ish

My mother married a sociopathic narcissistic drug addict/alcoholic from Custer who we will call “Mr Hubbard”

Well unfortunately “Mr Hubbard” got all high on speed and vodka, got paranoid and kidnapped me and held me in a bungalow down in Birch Bay.

My mom was able to contact Mike ahead of time (before she came and rescued me) to let Mike understand the situation,”Mr Hubbard” being a highly manipulative sociopathic was able to call 911 and allegedly state that some stranger was kidnapping me! (Which wasn’t true obviously.)

Instead of leaving immediately to the 911 call about a child being kidnapped Mike knew what was happening and Gave my mom a few minutes extra “head start” to go grab me out of the window and get me to an awaiting car where we were able to escape to a safe spot.

Mike Haslip was my hero on a number of different occasions involving saving my mother and I from the worst trauma a child could possibly endure.

Though I still battle with the PTSD/trauma of my childhood daily.. I am a survivor and I am stronger because of my past

I cannot express ENOUGH of my heartfelt gratitude for him.He may have well have saved our lives!

I’ll always remember Mike coming to our rescue when nobody else could. This guy would literally come and save us from a sociopathic monster who would destroy everything while beating on my mother and I.

I’ve never forgotten Mikes name because of his sacrifice and heroic spirit!

The epitome of a true hero.

I’m forever grateful for him!
