Blaine Boys's Golf: Playing a second tournament in horrible weather this season, the Blaine boys' golf team floundered and finished a distant fifth, 61 strokes behind front-running Bellingham in a Northwest Conference tournament played at Lake Padden Golf Course, Wednesday, April 27. Golfing between rain that varied from sprinkles to torrents, Bellingham's Cooper Kennison ground through puddles and soggy greens to score a 79 for medalist standing. Blaine sophomore Ryan Wallen finished one stroke behind Kennison with an 80. It is Wallen's fifth tournament where he has either finished second or won. It is only the second tournament this season where he has failed to score in the seventies.

Girl's Tennis: The girls' tennis team found both the weather and their opponents unaccomodating losing to Sehome 5-2 on Tuesday, April 26, and falling to Squalicum 4-3 on Friday, April 29. Their home match with Mount Vernon scheduled for Monday, May 2 was postponed.

Boy's Soccer: The Borderite's boys soccer team finished the season 0-15-1. They saw their closest opportunity for victory fail in a 1-0 loss at Nooksack, Friday April 29. Blaine's season ended with an 11-1 mauling at Mount Vernon.
