Boys’ soccer

The Blaine High School boys soccer team has won one of its first three games this season, but lost its first conference game 2-0 to Mount Baker High School. The Borderites’ next game starts at 4:30 p.m. on March 22 at the Pipeline Fields in Blaine.

Two of the scheduled Blaine High School baseball games have been rained out. The third on March 14 was a 6-2 loss to Anacortes High School at Blaine’s baseball field. The Borderites next host Sedro-Woolley High School on Friday, March 23.

Blaine’s softball team lost their first game of 2012 16-2 against Mount Baker High School last Wednesday, and the two following games were rained out. The Borderites next take on the Mountaineers again starting at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, at Mount Baker High School.

After two reschedules, the Blaine girls' tennis team will have to wait a third time to face Lynden.  The match was originally scheduled for March 14 and was rescheduled twice due to rain on the courts. The match has now been postponed until March 22.

The Borderites did get a match off Monday, March 19, at home against Mount Vernon High School, which Blaine won 6-1.
