The Borderites boys soccer team lost its only game of the week 7-1 at home to Sehome on Tuesday, April 10. The next game is at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 at Meridian High School.


The Blaine baseball team’s busy week will continue through this week as well, that is, if the weather holds up. The team beat Nooksack Valley 5-1 in a make-up game on April 4, and on April 6 lost a close home game to Cashmere 2-0. The team played another makeup game against Burlington-Edison on April 9, losing 15-2 at home. The team also lost 8-4 to Mount Baker on April 10. The Borderites faced Anacortes on Wednesday, April 11.


The softball team took a break from competitive play for spring break, but faced Mount Vernon on Tuesday, April 10. The team lost 13-8.


The boys’ golf team had the week off and will resume play on Thursday, April 12 at North Bellingham at 3 p.m. The girls competed on April 9 at Meridian, and won with a score of 80, narrowly beating Sedro-Woolley with its 79. Its next match will be April 16 in the Burlington-Edison invite.


The girl’s tennis team lost a close match 4-3 to Squalicum at home on April 10. The team looked to recover on Wednesday, April 11, against Burlington-Edison at home.
