The Borderites varsity girls’ soccer team traveled all the way to Orting (near Mount Rainier) on Tuesday, October 30, where they beat Eatonville 2-1. Blaine goals came from Hope Wilkett and Olivia Olason.

“We wanted to get into the playoffs, and here we are,” said head coach Dan Steelquist. “We played an excellent game and the defense stood up to Eatonville.” The girls are working hard every day.”

This win means the girls will be playing Meridian on Thursday, November 1, and the victor of that game will head to state.
