Blaine athletes performed well at the 1A Tri-District track and field finals May 18, with eight Borderites moving on to state.

The Blaine girls softball team came up short at the tri-district tournament by Mount Baker.

The top pair on the Blaine girls' tennis team won the 1A Sub-District doubles championship earlier this month.

After a hiccup of a loss to Mount Baker and wins against Friday Harbor, Coupeville and Lynden Christian, the Blaine softball team secured third place in the 1A District Tournament and a bid to the Tri-District Tournament.
