The Blaine girls’ basketball team pulled out a huge win over Lynden Christian at Blaine High School on Monday, January 2.

Despite a revived fourth-quarter effort, Blaine could not overcome Lynden Christian’s devastating outside shooting, falling 66-54 in a Northwest Conference boys’ basketball matchup on Monday, January 2, at Lynden Christian High School.

After soundly defeating Sedro-Woolley 59-25 on Tuesday, December 20, Blaine’s girls’ basketball team now enter the holiday break on a three-game win streak.

Late-game fatigue struck Blaine’s boys’ basketball team at home on Tuesday, December 20, against Sedro-Woolley, contributing to the 59-51 Borderite loss.

The Blaine girls’ basketball team turned in a solid first-half effort against undefeated Burlington-Edison, but couldn’t overcome the Tigers’ aggressive defense in the second half, losing 40–35 at home on Tuesday, December 13.
