Spring football practice begins
Parker Wallace ended his junior season as the backup quarterback to Zach Aiken on the Borderite junior varsity team. Myles Peltier quarterbacked the freshman team.
Blaine head softball coach Alisa Burk can say that she took her team to state in her first year. Impressive, when one reflects on a one-win season.

Wallen wins 2A state golf championship
When he led the state tournament after the first round last season, then-freshman Ryan Wallen was an unknown commodity around the state. After leading, Wallen slipped in the final round to finish second.
Morrison wins two titles, Blaine girls finish third at state
It wasn’t the march to the award stand she remembered from the previous two seasons, but Blaine junior Cherish Morrison was able to mine satisfaction out of a challenging 2011 state track and field meet.

Morrison cruises, boys barge into state meet
For the Blaine track teams there was no shortage of drama and surprises on the first day of the 2A Northwest district track meet at Civic Field in Bellingham, on Wednesday, May 18.
