Blaine’s super sophomore made a resounding statement that he will be the favorite to win the 2A state golf championship after crushing his competition at the 2A Northwest district golf tournament at Snohomish Golf Course, Tuesday, May 17.

Blaine junior Aubrie Hagen had never reached the third round of the 2A Northwest district tennis tournament before.

The Blaine no. 1 doubles team of Katie Conway and Samantha Nault moved into the third round of the 2A Northwest District Tennis Tounament at Sehome High School and Western Washington University in Bellingham, Saturday, May 15.

“I’m definitely ready for state,” Cherish Morrison said between races at the second day of the 2A Northwest sub-district track meet, Friday May 13 at Rollie DeCoster Field in Lynden.

There will be no return to the state tournament for the Blaine baseball team this year as its season ended with a gut-wrenching 4-3 loss to Bellingham, Tuesday May 10, at Volunteers Field in Anacortes.
